Popcorn Store Front Fundraiser

Popcorn Fundraiser!!!
Hello Happy Scouters,
We are hosting a store front fundraiser to help Pack 311 raise money.
The store front sale is for the pack and the door to door sale is for the scout to raise money.
We are asking each den to volunteer at least one family for a 1 hour shift to help out at this event. Den leaders please support us by promoting this to the families of your den. Though one family is required for each ranks shift all scouts are welcome. 4 to 6 scouts at a time would be great.

Rummage Sale Announcement
Start your Spring cleaning a little early this year. Pack 311 will be hosting its first (hopefully annual) Pack rummage sale. We are looking for donations of items that are in good shape and fully functional. This sale cannot be used to get rid of your junk. We are looking for items with some resale value. If you are going to donate electronics, furniture, tools, or any other items that have pieces and parts please make sure that they are complete and in working order. If you are going to be donating clothing please make sure that the clothing is clean, only slightly used, not torn, does not have holes, and is not stained or discolored.
This event can be a very successful fundraiser for our Pack and will help provide excellent programs for the upcoming year but we need your help. Parents get started collecting items! More information for the drop off site and times will be announced as we get closer to the rummage sale date. Beyond the items we need your help to make this fundraiser a success. Your Den leaders will have a sign-up sheet for volunteers to help us transport, price, and sell the items throughout that day.
Get Involved! Our Boys are worth it!
Future Events
In an effort to provide new and enjoyable outings and events our Committee has already begun thinking about this Summer and Fall.
Pack Hiking Coordinator
Simply put, this position requires the ability to select a date, location and lead the monthly Pack hike. Having a fun, and knowledgeable program will go a long way. Knowledge of the basics of hiking/backpacking is recommended, while also knowing different facts about the locations the Pack is hiking at.
MCCD has plenty of locations to use, and re-visiting often gives the Scouts a different view of familiar trails.
No specific training is necessary; however you must be a registered adult with BSA, and follow the volunteer guidelines.

Pinewood Derby Coordinator
The annual Pinewood Derby is a true part of the history of Cub Scouting. Early planning and organization is the key to a successful race day that the Scouts (and parents) will remember for years to come. From securing a location, enlisting pre-race, and race day help, to the actual event all falls on this position.
It is a great way to make the entire Pack have one of the single greatest memories of their lives.
